China Itinerary - Beijing Tours

Our tour Itinerary in Beijing:  

  

Wed 8-Jul-09: Arrive at Beijing airport and go to the hotel

Thurs 9-Jul-09: Tour the Summer Palace

Fri 10-Jul-09: Tour the Great Wall at Badaling.  

Sat  11-Jul-09: Tour the Temple of Heaven

Sun 12-Jul-09:Visit the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square. View Olympic site in the evening

Mon  13-Jul-09    : Rickshaw tour of Beijing hutongs (back alleys?), then fly to Changsha and take a bus to ZhuZhou (Djew-Djoe)

NOTE: Apparently Zhuzhou is too small of a community to have its own airport. It only has 3 million people or so. That is why we fly to the capital of Hunan province, which has a more respectable 5 million people. After Beijing (population 17 million, this will seem sparsely populated.

Once in Zhuzou, we will continue preparations for the summer camp, which will run the following two weeks. Then back home!
